☺ We had a wonderful stay at Villa Vera!
We spent three nights here and felt very welcome from the very first moment. The house is cozy, clean, and fully equipped — a perfect base to explore the area. When we arrived, one of the air conditioners (heating) in a bedroom didn’t work, and since we’re used to 40°C back home on Bonaire, it felt extra cold for us that day ?. Bea and Monica did their best to fix it, and when that wasn’t possible, they immediately offered a perfect solution: they gave us access to an additional apartment so we could all stay warm and comfortable. Their kindness, flexibility, and warm hospitality made us feel truly cared for.
Thank you both for everything! ❤️

☹ If we really had to name something, maybe a little shampoo in the bathroom and a dishwasher in the main apartment — but that’s just us being spoiled, because everything else was truly perfect. ?

☺ Die Villa Vera ist eine traumhafte Unterkunft. Es ist einfach alles super. Bea und Monica sind allerliebste Gastgeber, bei denen man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Das gesamte Haus ist sehr sehr sehr sauber, die Apartments sind super schön und modern eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Sollte doch etwas fehlen, so sorgen Bea und Monica sofort dafür. 
Der Ausblick aus den größeren Apartments zum Meer ist sensationell, wir hatte das Glück in der Nachsaison ein kostenloses Upgrade zu bekommen, weil Bea und Monica einfach liebe Menschen sind. 
Wir waren während unserer Kroatien Rundreise in einigen anderen Unterkünften. Die Villa Vera ist mit großem Abstand die beste Unterkunft die wir hatten. Dies betrifft alle Bereiche: Sauberkeit, Lage, Ausstattung, Freundlichkeit, wohlfühlen und vieles mehr. Direkt am Meer, sehr schöne kleine Kiestrände schnell zu erreichen, Sumartin ein schöner Ort.

☹ Dass wir leider abreisen mussten.  Wir wären gerne geblieben.

☺ Herrliche Lage, herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberinnen, sehr schöne Strände in der Nähe. Villa Vera ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um den Rest der Insel zu erkunden. Insgesamt ein sehr entspannter Urlaub.

    10 Great getaway from the busier tourist towns.
☺ Beautiful scenic views. Close to great swimming spots and close enough to town to enjoy a lovely evening out. The host Bea was so helpful with great suggestions and helped make the most of our trip!

☺ The hosts were exceptional in every way..... 
I sustained a nasty head wound while we were there, and they organised a fellow guest (student Dr) to administer first aid. Called paramedics and acted as translators. Provided 3 trips to different  hospitals & clinics for treatment & and follow-up appointments, translating and liaising with medical personnel. On the day of the accident, they provided us with a takeaway pizza!
I was so grateful the accident had happened whilst we were there.

The bed was really comfortable. Loved the location - just a 10 min walk out of town and very quiet and peaceful with good views from the pool and the pool facing rooms.
Sumartin is a lovely town, handy for ferry to Makarska & with a choice of restaurants and an excellent bakery. Something to note, however ,:we left the island on 14th Sept, and some  restaurants and the bakery were about to close for the season.

☹ We were there for 5 days and wished we'd booked a larger apartment with a pool view and larger balcony.

       Siamo arrivate a Sumartin col bisogno di tranquillità e pace..
Ci ha accolto un paesino sereno , coi tempi lenti che profumava di pace..poi siamo arrivate a Vila Vera , potrei parlare della vista spettacolare sul mare , di una romantica piscina , di un appartamento delizioso , ben arredato e pulitissimo , potrei parlare del giardino e dei suoi alberi maestosi..invece la cosa che ci ha colpito di più è stata l' accoglienza ricevuta ! Dopo un viaggio lungo , essere accolti da abbracci calorosi e da sorrisi accoglienti , ci ha fatto subito sentire di essere arrivate esattamente dove volevamo arrivare , ci siamo sentite a casa ❤️
Bea e Monica ci hanno fatto sentire subito speciali , e loro sono davvero due persone speciali...
Grazie davvero di tutto , dei bei giorni , delle risate e della condivisione di noi .

     We stayed 5 nights, I'd have happily doubled that.
Unbeatable hosts (best I've ever experienced) and we wanted peace and tranquility, with a pool. Villa Vera was perfect.
An easy walk along seafront takes you to Sumartin, great choice of restaurants, coffee shops a shop and a great bakery.
I simply can't fault the place.

     Diese Apartments sind das Beste was ich je erlebt habe. Die Lage Ruhig und trotzdem direkte Fähranbindung. Direkt am Strand mit Pool. Aussicht auf dem Balkon!
Am Besten die 2 Gastgeberinnen! Die beiden sind unglaublich! So liebe Vermieter hab ich noch nicht erlebt!
Was uns als Familie etwas fehlte war die Ausstattung in der Küche, aber wir waren auch zu 5. in einem 4er Appartement. Und die 2 Gastgeberinnen waren sehr bemüht auch Dinge die in der Wohnung nicht vorhanden waren zu beschaffen.
Von mir gibt es die beste Empfehlung!

     We had a fantastic stay at Vila Vera in the superior apartment with a sea view — truly a gem in Sumartin!

The location is unbeatable: right on the first line to the sea, with stunning views and direct access to the water. The apartment itself is modern, clean, and fully equipped with everything you might need — including a dishwasher, washing machine, fully stocked kitchen, and AC.

The pool is just steps away (literally about 15), always clean and well-maintained, with sunbeds and umbrellas available at all times. There’s also a great communal area where you can relax, barbecue, enjoy a hammock, or just unwind. Private parking on the property is a big plus.

Sumartin is the quieter side of Brač, perfect if you’re looking to avoid crowds. Supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants — everything is within walking distance. You can either explore the local public beaches or simply go down from the villa and swim right in front, where there’s a designated and safe sea entrance.

Special thanks to Bea and Monika — warm, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming hosts who made our stay feel extra special. We felt truly at home.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable vacation on Brač!
